Wyoming gets verbal from 3 Star gunslinger Adam Pittser

Wyoming just landed a big fish for their 2011 recruiting class.   QB Adam Pittser from Richmond, IL verbally committed to the Pokes are visiting Laramie last weekend.  Pittser is rated three stars by Rivals and 5.7 rating which is just one tenth of a point from being rated four stars.  

This summer he made a name for himself at Elite 11 Quarterback Camp where he compared favorably to highly rated commits from Florida, Oklahoma and USC.  His powerful and accurate arm impressed the media and scouts in attendance.  He is currently ranked the 13th best prospect in IL, 19th best duel threat QB and rated 5th strongest arm.  read more >

Pittser proving he belongs at Elite 11

Adam Pittser thinks he has a lot to offer any program because he will do what it takes to win.ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- These days it's common to hear about a young high school player transferring from one school to another. Some do it for playing time, others do it to be part of a particular scheme and some do it to escape a losing program and increase their recruiting stock.

Two quarterbacks rise up at Elite 11 

Adam Pittser needed his monster showing in Vegas to make the Elite 11 and was one of the last quarterbacks selected. He plays in a run dominated offense and only threw the ball 68 times all last season.

At 6-1, he doesn’t have great size but has a cannon for an arm and one of the quickest releases in the camp. Some lucky college will get an absolute steal here and it wouldn’t surprise if a few BCS schools jump on the bandwagon once word spreads about his performance this week (read more).
